Daily crude steel output at key member firms of China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) stood at 2.03 million tonnes during November 21-30, rebounding 1.32% compared with the previous ten days, the CISA data showed.
Daily production of pig iron averaged 1.86 million tonnes during the given period, rising 2.62% from ten days ago. Daily output of finished steel increased 4.86% from ten days ago to 2.07 million tonnes.
Nationwide, daily production of crude steel is estimated to rise 0.60% from ten days ago to 2.73 million tonnes. The daily pig iron and steel products output is calculated at 2.37 million and 3.61 million tonnes, rising 1.35% and 1.62% respectively.
As of November 30, CISA key member steel mills held 15.30 million tonnes of finished steel stocks, 11.54% or 2.00 million tonnes lower than mid-November and down 7.10% or 1.17 million tonnes compared with the same period in the preceding month. The volume was also 2.82 million tonnes or 22.59% higher compared with the same period in the preceding year, data showed.
