China Shenhua Energy Co., Ltd., a listed arm of China Energy Investment Corp, saw its polyolefin sales fall 3.9% year on year to 58,500 tonnes in July, the company said in a report on August 18.
The July figure was 0.7% or 400 tonnes lower than that in June.
Polyethylene sales were 30,700 tonnes, a year-on-year fall of 4.1% and a month-on-month rise of 6.2%. Sale of polypropylene fell 3.8% from a year ago and 7.3% from a month ago to 27,800 tonnes.
In January-July, sales of polyolefin totaled 416,800 tonnes, down 3.5 % or 15,200 tonnes on the year, with polyethylene and polypropylene sales respectively at 214,400 tonnes and 202,400 tonnes, both down 3.5% year on year.
