China imported 180 million tonnes of crude oil in January-April, rising 7.2% year on year, showed data from the General Administration of Customs (GAC).
Imports value of crude oil came in at $76.01 billion, increasing 8.9% on the year.
Refined oil products imports of the country during January-April totaled 8.04 million tonnes, down 14.9% from year-ago period, worth $4.55 billion, down 4.3% year on year.
Average import price of crude oil and refined oil products can be calculated at $330.73/t and $565.76/t respectively.
China imported 40.36 million tonnes of crude oil, with import value at $18.86 billion; and 1.96 million tonnes of refined oil products, worth $1.21 billion.
