Grace added 287.3 MW of wind power capacity to the power grid in the first half of 2020, bringing the cumulative installed capacity to 3.88 GW, the Hellenic Wind Energy Association (ELETAEN) said.
Of the total 3.88 GW, 299.7 MW is installed on islands and the rest of 3.58 GW is on the land.
Grace saw its wind turbine capacity gain 8% from the end-December, 2019 and tested 110 machines in the year to June.
Terna Energy SA owned the most installed capacity, with 585.9 MW, accounting for 15.1% of the total; it is followed by Ellaktor, construction group, having 482.3 MW; the third place took by Italy's Enel Green Power with 353.7 MW.
