Russia exported about 105 million tonnes of coal during the first seven months, falling 4.83% from 111 million tonnes a year ago, data showed from Energy Ministry of Russian Federation.
Coal production also declined by 7.94% year on year to 227 million tonnes over January-July, data showed.
In July, the country logged coal exports at 17.03 million tonnes, rising 1.45% from a year ago and 5.63% higher compared with the preceding month.
It churned out 32.21 million tonnes of the fuel during the same month, down 5.27% from 33.99 million tonnes in the year-ago level yet growing 1.46% from 31.74 million tonnes in June, data showed.
