China coke exports declined for a second straight month in September, with a year-on-year reduction slowing from 47.86% to 25.8% last month, data showed.
Total coke exports in September came in at 394,000 tonnes, which were 10.66% lower than a month ago, a more aggravated month-on-month decline compared with 2.59% in August, data showed from the General Administration of Customs on October 14.
Total exports value stood at $100.1 million, down 37.04% from a year ago and 16.86% from a month earlier. The average price was calculated at $254.06/t, decreasing $45.37/t on the year and $18.95/t on the month.
China's coke exports amounted to 5.16 million tonnes in January-September, dropping 25.4% from the preceding year, with value down 29.5% to $1.48 billion.
