China's Daqo New Energy Corp has struck a two-year agreement to supply polysilicon to solar module manufacturer JinkoSolar Holding Co Ltd, sources reported.
The terms of the deal call for Daqo New Energy to deliver between 12,000 and 14,400 tonnes of polysilicon in 2020 and 15,600-21,600 tonnes in 2021. The company said in its statement that prices will be determined on a monthly basis, based on market pricing.
''Once our Xinjiang polysilicon production facility expands to 70,000 million tonnes by the end of this year, we will be able to meet the rapidly growing demand from our mono-solar customers and the global solar PV industry," commented Shihua Su, chief marketing officer of Daqo New Energy.
